Our Principal Broker, Samuel St-Phard, learned very early on in his Business Development Career, that he only had 30 seconds to win someone's trust in order to sell them a brand new automobile. Sam, innately, understood that he was not "selling" an automobile to his clients, but that these people already were seeking to purchase an automobile. Since he, inherently, understood that, and recognized that his clients were credit worthy enough, and financially solvent enough, to make such a "Big ticket" purchase, Sam knew that their minds were already made up. Sam knew that what they really needed was "Safety". He understood that the Automobile Dealership industry, had a reputation of being, "sketchy", and that, generally speaking, Automobile Salesmen, had a less than pristine reputation for honesty and transparency. So, Sam focused on building relationships with his clients, by answering their questions, honestly and transparently, and focusing on building one key ingredient to those relationships ---- Trust. Sam St-Phard has built all of his client relationships on the principle's of Trust and Transparency, and has carried that conviction with him throughout his 36 year business development career. Welcome to our website. My name is Sam St-Phard, and I am the Founder of the St-Phard Group, LLC dba TSG Brokers. I have been a Sales and Marketing SME (Subject Matter Expert) since I began my career in the New Car Sales vertical at Herb Gordon Auto World of Silver Spring, Maryland in 1988. I quickly established myself as one of the most consistent salesmen there at 24 years of age (I sold 16 new vehicles every month). I was then hired by  Advantage Electrostatic Refinishers in Laurel, Maryland. I increased the revenue of AER from $400k annually in 1989 to $1.2M annually in 1991. I then went on to the NAPA owned, SP Richards Co., the second largest, wholesale office supply company in America, and in one year took a $2.2M territory annually and increased its revenue to $5.2M annually. With each and every new company that I sold for, I consistently produced seven figures or more, annually. I also led and trained teams who duplicated my results everywhere I went. The problem? The corporate "jungle". The "churn and burn" mentality. Worse than that? The philosophy that, "Business is business". As if that is a license to view employees as statistics, rather than what they genuinely are... people of value, who are assets to every operation and organization. 
I decided that I would no longer use my talents to promote and advance such paradigms, perspectives, and practices. Instead? I decided that being an entrepreneur, is how I wanted to move forward as a businessman. I became an Insurance Agent in 2011, and found that protecting employees and their families from the unexpected, aligned perfectly with my values. Being in a profession where people could avoid financial ruin by simply enrolling in benefits being offered by their employers not only changed my perspective about life, but, literally, financially, saved the lives of many of my clients. At TSG Brokers we believe that, "Business is people." Here's what that means... business provides for people's families, their dreams, their goals, and their lives.
